What to Expect at Your LASIK Consultation
Our team will perform painless, yet very informational, scans of your eyes to determine things like corneal thickness, presence of any eye diseases and your overall eye health. We will go over your test results in detail with you, explaining what the measurements mean and how they might affect your LASIK outcomes. By the time you leave, you’ll have vast information about your eye health and your vision improvement options. At some LASIK centers, you’ll feel pressured to schedule your LASIK procedure on the spot – but not at The Wright Eye Center. We’ll give you time to decide if you want to schedule your procedure. Leaving your contacts out in advance of the this visit will help determine if you are a candidate. Soft contacts should be out for a minimum of one week and hard contacts for a minimum of one month.
