Dr. Steven P. Clancy. O.D.

Dr. Clancy has been with The Wright Eye Center since 2015. He graduated from Miami University in
Oxford, OH, in 1989 with a Bachelors in Physics and was commissioned in The U.S. Air Force. He served
as a Scientific Analyst for seven years before entering The Illinois College of Optometry where he
graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000. He continued his Air Force career as an Optometrist with
assignments in Alabama, Italy, Japan, South Korea and finally Peterson Air Force Base where he retired
in 2014. Dr. Clancy practices primary care optometry with an emphasis on pre- and post-op care for
cataract and refractive surgeries. He also diagnoses and treats ocular conditions such as glaucoma,
diabetic retinopathy, corneal problems and infectious eye diseases. In his free time, you’ll find him
either on the golf course or the ski slopes.
